My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Pumpkin. I was rescued with my sister Patch. Get it - Pumpkin Patch? We are lucky kittens. We were alone and homeless just a couple of weeks ago. It was cold outside and we were looking for shelter. I found a hole in the wall and tried to squeeze into it. I got stuck. My sister stayed with me, climbing onto a windowsill above me where she shivered and cried for help. A nice lady heard her and rescued us both. We were so cold and hungry. Now, we're happy, healthy, with full tummies and a warm bed. All we need now is a lifelong, loving home.

I'm a very handsome, neutered male, shorthaired orange tabby kitten. I would like to snuggle in your lap while you rub my head until I fall asleep. It's my favorite thing. I am litter box trained and I really like to play with toys. I'm good with other kitties and enjoy the companionship. I'm just settling in to my foster care home, so they'll know even more about me, my likes and dislikes, very soon. I'm a sweet boy who just wants a safe, loving home. Adoption fee: $100 and includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter and 30 days of free pet insurance.

Adoption and Foster Care Application

Adoption Process:
Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
