My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nadia is an adorable 4 month doberman mix pup. We should call her Miss Wiggles. She LOVES to be loved and when you hold her, her entire body wiggles. Nadia loves other dogs. Nadia was rescued from a high kill shelter in TN. When our volunteer was at the shelter she knew immediately we needed her out of there. Nadia has the most gorgeous greenish eyes that just make your heart melt. Nadia is ready for her HOME.

If you are interested in giving Nadia a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly with questions about the dogs at 901-651-6322 or Angela with questions about our adoption process at 203-909-8861.

Nadia's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the spaying, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, certificate of health and transportation.
Nadia lives with a foster family in Tennessee and will travel to her new home by professional pet transport once she has been adopted. We use a weekly transport service to the northeast and a twice monthly service to the Chicago / Milwaukee area.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home
