Desi's Story...
Hey Everyone! I came into iWars with my 9 other brothers and sisters! We were picked up by a Peace Officer and taken to Parkland County Animal Shelter where iWars came to pick us all up! We are so thankful they could bring us 10 stray kittens in as we had massive eye infections and could barely see out of our eyes even! We will be available for adoption once we are fixed, fully vaccinated and microchipped. For now, you can always pre-adopt us if you'd like by visiting www.infinitewoofs.org and filling out an adoption application!

Update: Now available for adoption!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Desi, a Edmonton Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Edmonton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Edmonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
