My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maggie is a 10 week old german shepherd puppy mix. She is too cute for words. Her coloring is such a true representation of the breed. Maggie is very friendly and stunningly beautiful. She runs and plays then just sacks out and takes a nap, then starts all over again. Maggie is lovable and just a fun little girl. Those EYES just grab you! Maggie is working on her potty training skills in her foster home.

If you are interested in giving Maggie a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly with questions about the dogs at 901-651-6322 and Angela with questions about our adoption process at 203-909-8861.

Maggie's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the spaying, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, certificate of health and transport fee.

Maggie is living with a foster family just outside of Memphis, TN. Maggie will travel to her new family by professional pet transport once she has been adopted. We us a weekly transport tot he northeast and a twice monthly transport to the Chicago / Milwaukee areas.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
