Caitlin and Megan are the cutest NorfolkX sisters ever! They are a bonded pair and have taken loving care of each other through all the trials and tribulations of their 1-year life. These sisters were confined to a tiny cage for much of their early days...living literally on top of each other. From their sad existence in a crate, they were transferred to a high-kill shelter. How could we have left these 2 deserving pups who had never had a day of joy in their lives? So...just in time...Caitlin and Megan were given the opportunity of a lifetime - safety and a true possibility for a caring and committed home. After being temperament tested and vetted, the girls were placed in a great foster home to learn about being loved as well as boundaries.
These gorgeous NorfolkX pups yearn for a soft touch and a loving voice. This is usually the calm demeanor of an older person who is searching to bond 100% with 2 devoted companions.
We don't see any aggression whatsoever from these sisters...but are making a choice not to place them in a home with kids. We feel that any fears that they might bring from their previous life will be better suited to the quiet and more reliable environment of an all-adult home.
Caitlin and Megan will be such wonderful companions for a retired couple or individual! They are ready to trust and bond with a family that is truly devoted to them. They are capable of being such great best friends to people who enjoy their silly antics and snuggly ways... yet understand that bonding doesn't happen in a moment. It's a process built on time-spent with commitment and love. Caitlin and Megan must be placed together...a perfect pair for the family who has the time and space for 2 small pups. The joy and laughter that this exceptional pair will bring will change the life of a very lucky family! The girls are also an example of two being easier than one...they play, occupy each other when loved ones aren't home and absolutely give double the love!
Caitlin and Megan are a non-shedding breed mix with beautiful white and golden hair. They will therefore require periodic baths and brushing along with excellent nutrition to keep their coats healthy and matt-free.
Caitlin and Megan are being fostered in Boulder, CO. They are working with an exceptional foster on their socialization skills and bravery out in a busy world. While we will accept applications and inquiries regarding this sweet twosome, we're anticipating Caitlin and Megan being ready for a change the week before Thanksgiving...they'll be the ultimate holiday gift for a very lucky family.
