Meet LaLa!
Lagunitas, a.k.a. "LaLa," is a four-month-old, 25-lb. pit bull mix and lives in a foster home with four other dogs and a cat. She's a typical, playful puppy and really enjoys playing with her foster sibling, JoJo, who also is up for adoption with Canine Cupids.
LaLa is pretty passive, and when told to "mind her manners" by her older canine foster sibling, she rolls over and shows her belly. She's doing great on leash-walking and loves to play outside -- as long as its not too cold! Potty-training is going well. She still has the occasional accident, but keeps her crate dry at night. Speaking of the crate, LaLa doesn't mind it -- she sleeps in it at night and spends short periods of time in it during the day.
LaLa would do great as an only dog or with a playmate. LaLa loves her foster family's kids and has a very gentle mouth, taking treats from them nicely. She'd do great with kids of all ages!
When not playing, LaLa loves enjoying cuddles on the couch. She snuggles right in, especially if someone will share their blanket with her! She'd make a wonderful addition to any family -- could it be yours?

Canine Cupids is a rescue in Milwaukee that is comprised of volunteers who have been fostering for various organizations and volunteering at our local animal control. Canine Cupids focuses on Milwaukee’s homeless dogs, but will always help a dog in need when we can — regardless of location.

Our Thoughts on Visual Breed Identification
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. For most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think it’s most important is to get to know each dog as an individual! We then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personalities in order to determine whether they’ll make good companions based on prospective adopters’ lifestyles. Dog behavior is not exclusive to breed — it’s a complex mix of nature and nurture.
