My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scruffy is a three year old male bichon that weighs about 15 pounds. Scruffy gets along well with cats and other dogs, and he is housebroken. We have not been around any small children yet, so we don't know about his reaction. He has some experience with a "doggy door" or he will go sit by the door when he needs to go outside. Scruffy has not had any marking issues even though he is currently sharing our home with our male bichon. We have noticed . He likes to be near the action, walks easily on a leash, and enjoys a big back yard when the weather is nice. Scruffy likes belly rubs and is a great lap warmer. He waits for permission to jump up on furniture and enjoys car rides. Scruffy will bark when someone knocks on the door. (This is good for us because our doorbell is broken.) Scruffy currently sleeps in a large kennel lined with a doggie bed at night. We assume that he was trained to do that because he goes into it willingly at bedtime. Scruffy is up-to-date on shots and flea maintenance. He was also groomed today and enjoyed the experience. Children in the home need to be at least 10.
