My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*****Adoption Pending*****

Rosie is a small, stocky, beautiful mahogany colored red tri 3 year old spayed female who was surrendered due to lack of time and her energy level. She is a stable and happy dog that gets along well with other dogs, leaves the cats alone and likes kids and strangers. She has a good recall on off leash walks and is very focused on us. Her manners have improved immensely since she arrived and they continue to get better. She is a fast learner that just wants to do the right thing. When she first came here, she liked to chew on shoes and couch pillows, but she is learning to choose dog toys instead. A sacrificial couch pillow has been left out for over two weeks now with no damage. Rosie is very interested in my sheep and I think she might like to try some herding - but any activity that you want to do with her would be fine with her. She has an off switch and is calm in the house but she is a higher energy aussie that needs to go to a home where she has something to occupy her mentally as well as physically. This little girl just needs continuing simple training for manners and a job. She will make a phenomenal dog for some lucky family that wants to play agility, do obedience, teach her tricks, do nose work, or try herding.
