Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Winter was found hiding under a bush in a small, curled-up ball on a bitter cold, icy day. She had ice droplets all over her fur. When I called to her, the poor skinny cat came to me as fast as she could, despite a severe limp. She could not walk on her back leg. She was starving and freezing, and seemed to welcome me placing her into a cat carrier for a ride to my Vet. The doctor determined that she was either kicked by a cruel human or hit by a car, and did indeed suffer from a broken leg. Throughout her healing process, Winter stayed sweet and loving.
Now Winter is completely healed and ready for her forever home. She is one of the funniest, most amusing cats I have ever fostered. She has a very animated personality, and loves to play. She will make you laugh every day! She will bob her head very fast and then jump in the air to catch her favorite feather wand. She loves to sleep in bed with her humans, and cuddle up right next to you. Every day, she walks with my husband down to the mailbox and right back into the house, just like a dog would. She is truly a character!
Winter is not afraid of much, even the neighborhood dog, who occasionally gets loose. She may take awhile to warm up to a new dog, though. She lived in a house with two other elderly cats, whom she found quite boring. Her attempts to play with them only aggravated them. She hopes for a home with younger cats that want to run and play with her. She would also be fine as an only pet.
