Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi Everybody,
My name is Laci (or Laci Mae, as Mom calls me) and I am a shy, beautiful, playful, sweet and intelligent bichon girl of 17 months. I have a desire to please and beautiful brown eyes that will touch your soul.
In the yard I love to bound like a little deer- or is it a gazelle? I ‘bound around’ inviting the other pups to play with me. It seems that I am my most natural and happy self running and playing in the yard.
Mom says I have all it takes to become the world’s most loyal of companions – as long as you are patient with me in the beginning. Even though I am a youngster, it appears that I did not have the kind of loving environment most bichons are raised in. As a result I am slow to warm up to people. I like to greet them - but prefer that they allow me to do the greeting. When they approach me I can be pretty scared initially. The same goes for children. I like older children who don’t move too quickly and give me time to get to know them.
On the other hand, I love my doggy foster sister and am learning a lot from her. I am also very interested in playing with the family’s cat. I like to follow him and sometimes bark to try and get him to play. Sometimes he ‘almost’ obliges – so that’s encouraging for me.
Most of all I love Mom – which proves that I can relate to someone who will be both loving and patient with me. I respond to her every word and motion, as I really want to do the right thing and to please her. (I am happiest when I can be around someone I love!)
My human foster sisters think I’m very sweet and pretty. They also think I will be happiest in a home with another furkid. They say I love to go for walks and rides, am crate trained and housebroken. Dad says I am loving, obedient and anxious to please – a gentle and shy bichon girl with a huge heart and a desire to belong to a special someone for the rest of her life.
If you have room in your heart and home for a sweet bichon who wants to give and receive love and needs training and patience to become the little girl she was born to be, please complete our application.
I look forward to meeting you.
Tail wags and happy bounces,
Loving and Loyal Laci
