My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mishka 3 yr old female Brown Spotted Bengal

Her family had to move and where they went they could take the dogs but not the cat. This nice girl was good with the dogs and the children. She was inside only but her mom would sometimes take her out in the yard for a couple hours in a dog crate, which she enjoyed. In her foster home she has been given the use of a “catio” which she also enjoys and that is where these photographs were taken.

We know a little of her background. Her owner’s aunt had a bengal queen and one of the kittens she produced was given to this family. I am not sure of the number of children they had but I think it was at least 4 and they had two dogs.. So this girl grew up in the midst of a lot of commotion.

She is an active girl as is appropriate for her heritage. These photo’s sort of make her look large but she really is not large at all. If anything she is a little girl. an exquisite little girl. She is vocal when it is time to eat. She will let you know what she wants. She is a little edgy.
I think she might have been a very pampered kitty. At any rate she is used to getting her way. At the same time I think she has been very patient with her family. She likes attention a lot when she is not busy doing something else. Also a bengal trait.

Mishka is not partial to cats and she would do best as the only cat in the family. She would do well in a home that may include in addition to the adults possibly one or two older children and perhaps a dog or two. I think she would like a quieter home than she had before. Her edginess, a little cranky dissatisfaction with everything, has been disappearing as she has settled in to the comparative quiet of her foster home. Her family has moved twice in the last year and I think she has had a bit too much to deal with recently. An easy, less stressful home would be good for her.

MIshka is a beautiful, delightful, fascinating cat and some one will be so lucky to have her companionship.

She eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

Her foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
