My story

This is Fonzie, a loving, gentle 13 year old Shih Tzu male. He is looking for a new adult home, because, sadly, his owner passed away. Even though he knew only one owner his entire life, he has adjusted well in his foster home and will be a devoted companion to someone who would like the quiet affection of a mature dog. Although he is 13 years old, he has many more years to give love and happiness to someone. His eyes are bright and clear, but his hearing is little diminished. He follows you everywhere, loves to sleep with you and sit near or next to you. He is house trained, has wonderful house manners, and enjoys short walks. Fonzie is looking for a home with adults only where someone is home most of the day and where he can relax and enjoy being with his adopters.

Fonzie is in good health, is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $50.00 plus $3.64 sales tax for a total of $53.64. Fonzie’s foster parents would like his adopters to live within one hundred miles of the Twin Cities and would appreciate them attending the Shih Tzu Rescue Reunion held in June every year.
