My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! Pumpkin here! I'm a charming girl who is about 8 - 10 years old. Don't I have a beautiful face?! I was saved from a shelter in Western Illinois by these nice beagle rescue people. Life has been really good since I arrived at foster mom's house. She took me to the doctor and I got some medicine for my arthritis and ear infection. Both are much better now!

As you can see in my pictures, my front feet are a little deformed and that makes me walk a little funny. I still get around just fine though and go outside to potty. Those feet don't affect how much I will love you!
I like going to the park and can really move fast there. I'm good for short walks but I'm not crazy about stairs. I would probably be best in a home with few stairs (a couple of steps to go outside is fine) with carpet rather than wood floors because I slip around on those slick floors. That's not a deal breaker, however.

I like to ride in the car so long as you give me a boost to get in the front seat. I am a quiet girl and only bark when my foster brother sees something through the window and starts talking. I think I would be just fine in an apartment because I'm not super crazy about outside and would just rather lounge in my dog bed or on the couch after you give me a boost. I potty just fine on a leash. I love to sleep in my dog bed at night right next to foster mom. I love it when she pets me. I always sit right next to her. I have two foster brothers here and I get along fine with them. I just had to warm up to them! I am better with dogs more my size as those big guys are a little scary to me since I'm only about 30 pounds.

I'm a great girl who has a lot of love to give. Contact Midwest BREW to learn more about me!
