Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi People,
My name is Kyra and I’m an affectionate and sociable bichon girl of about 6 years old.My foster Mom says I have a sweet personality, am well-behaved and attentive. She says my intelligence and energy make me a great candidate for agility training in the future - but for now I am happy just to run, play and investigate new smells and sounds. Mom says I am very interested in greeting strangers and am especially fond of the UPS lady (she always has treats for me.) When I hear her truck approach I jump for joy.
Mom says I am also very S-M-A-R-T. I learned to ‘sit’ and ‘stay’ after just one training session and very little practice. I also took my first ‘selfie’ when Mom was trying to change the settings on her iPhone! I thought it was quite good - and so did Mom. I understand commands like “go play”. (I dash off and dive into the couch cushions), love to take naps on the window seat, cuddle and understand “no” when my 'helping' is not appropriate.
I’m doing much better walking on a leash and I truly understand the word “walk”. When Mom even whispers it, I will go and stand by the door, waiting to go out. I’m also starting to show more interest in toys, but I’m most interested in helping Mom finish any project that means I will get a belly rub sooner.
I am a true snuggle bug who loves to cuddle with her special people. I also love to go for rides in the car, shop (well Mom likes to shop so I’m her shopping buddy) and ‘help’ in the house.
I will be happiest in a home with an adult or two who are looking for an adoring companion. I promise that I will be that – and more.
Love and tail wags,
Kind and Kissy Kyra
