Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Max
10 year old male
Purebred Lynx Point Ragdoll
Max’s family obtained him from a breeder as a kitten but unfortunately after 10 years his families circumstances changed and he ended up in a shelter, completely confused and alone. This boy was so depressed we were contacted to save him and give him a new lease on life. He is a big boy at 19 pounds and just a sweet as can be; he was quite matted on his back half so he now sports a funny hairdo of a shaved bottom and a beautiful coat on his top half, including an incredible mane around his neck and shoulders.
Max is a big lover and will sleep next to your pillow and loves to have an arm tossed over him in a loose hug. He is not too fond of other kitties, some he just ignores while others he will sit and growl at. He is not at all aggressive but he does let you know when he is irritated. He is still a bit depressed but is coming out of his shell and actually starting to play with toys now. He does not like his foster mom’s dog so Max would be happiest in a home without other animals (or maybe another very mellow kitty) and with someone that either works from home or is retired. He does give love bites while being petted so small children would not be good for him. This gentle giant still has several years of life and love left to share, are you the one to give him that chance? Max is fostered in Lodi, CA. Please contact Jen at 916-217-2151 or email jennifer@purebredsplus.org for more information about him.
