Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We have a mosaic female chinchilla looking for her new home. Her name is Puff. Puff was born on July 15, 2011, and is approximately 3.5 years old.
Puff is generally a sweet girl, but definitely has some personality to her. She will talk to you if she would rather not be petted. However, in general, you can find her at the front of the cage begging for treats. She does not bite, she just talks to her humans occasionally.
Puff would do well as a “first chinchilla” for someone who has never had one before.
Puff has had a cagemate before, and they got along great. However, she is currently housed alone, and we cannot guarantee that she will get along with your chinchilla.
As with all of our chinchillas/rescues, Puff will come with 2 pounds of food to start you out (Mazuri pellets), a baggy of chews/treats, and a printed out version of our care packet.
He will also come with a lifetime of help and support, should you ever need it. If more supplies are needed, we also sell everything from hammocks to cages and everything in between – anything you could possibly need or want for your new chinchilla.
Regardless of past chinchilla experience, all potential homes will be asked to read our chinchilla care packet and fill out our adoption application/chinchilla questionnaire. If you are unwilling to do this, please do not waste our time or yours. No chinchilla will go to a new home without an adoption application being filled out - no exceptions.
