Pumpkin's Story...
Pumpkin is a charming four month old male fluffy kitten who is ready for his new home. This handsome guy has had a rough start to life, but you could never tell by his sweet, outgoing personality. When Pumpkin was just a kitten, his mother was living scared outside. When the babies were just a few weeks old, she moved them into the finders roof. The finder found a hole and had it repaired, trapping the babies inside. Within a day, he heard meowing and went up to investigate. The finder was able to trap all of the babies except for Pumpkin, who was scared of people at the time. The finder fed and watered Pumpkin in the roof until he was able to gain his trust and move him inside. Pumpkin is now looking for his new home. He is very sociable, and loves getting attention. He is great with other cats, and loves kids of all ages. Pumpkin enjoys batting around feather toys, and loves wet kitten food (especially if its turkey flavored). He is a cuddly boy who will seek you out to relax on your lap for a quick cat nap. Pumpkin is up to date on his vaccinations, microchipped, and will be neutered once adopted. Pumpkin would love to meet you and maybe even join your family! Stop by to visit, we are open from 12-6!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pumpkin, a Benbrook Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
