My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am Ted E. Bear! I'm a young 7 year old guy looking for love and a lap. My needs are simple and few, just an experienced Chi adult family who will take me out on walks, go for car rides, let me snuggle in a lap (or 2), and sleep under the blankets. I LIVE for belly rubs, chest scritches, and full body massages.

I would love to be your one and only. I'm all about being with my human and have no interest in others of my kind. After all, you humans only have 2 hands and I expect both of them to be giving me attention. And cats, well, I believe in keeping the species apart unless your kitties are looking for an exercise instructor who will keep them on their toes. Do they need to lose weight? I'll be more than happy to get them on a vigorous cardio program...whether they want it or not.

In the house I enjoy doing 2 things, being a couch potato and following my foster mom around. If she's cooking in the kitchen, I like to lay in my cabana where I can get some sun, watch the world outside and keep an eye on her.

Outside I love going for walks. As soon as she puts my harness on I get excited because I know what's next. I may have little legs, but they're faster than my mom's. She said my legs remind her of hummingbird wings, they move so fast you can't see them. Even this cold weather doesn't slow me down, I don't even notice it. Snow is ok but I don't like the rain so I get to wear a coat to keep me dry.

Car rides are ok too as long as I get to sit up front. I have my own car seat, well 2 actually, so I get to look out and act as navigator. And I'm smart, I know to stay in the car seat where it's safe and not jump around.

I'm great in my crate, so you don't have to worry about me when you're gone all day. I don't make a peep and will just sleep.

I would love to be in my forever home snuggling with you before the holidays. Can you make my wish come true?

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
