Coco's Story...
COCO is an adorable one year old Chihuahua. We rescued her from a high kill shelter. It is hard to believe that this dainty, six pound, perfect little girl was a stray.

She is SUPER loving to all people and loves all dogs, she loves to kiss and snuggle and loves to groom her doggie friends.

Coco would be best in a home with another sweet, playful, non-aggressive dog, and in a calm, non chaotic environment. Also an owner that is not gone eight hours.

Coco loves to sleep under the covers so we need an owner who wants a small, snuggly bed mate.

She is spayed, microchipped and current on shots.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coco, a Santa Monica Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Santa Monica, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Santa Monica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Monica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Monica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Monica paves the way for another one to be saved.
