Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jackie is a Jack Russell Terrier with lots of energy. Her foster takes her on a two mile walk mornings and evenings and Jackie loves it. She would go further but that is as far as her fosters can go. She is easy to walk unless she sees a squirrel. One of her fosters is in an electric chair and she is OK with that, however, she is very fearful of a cane or stick. She may have been abused at some time. She gets along with the dogs and cat in the household but does not play with them. She ignores the chickens. She likes her food and is not a picky eater.
Jackie's first reaction to a new person is fear. Although it takes awhile for her to get comfortable with new people, once she does, she wants to be near you and loves being petted. She prefers not to sit on your lap but close to you. After she trusts you she will greet you at the door with great enthusiasm. She enjoys going places with you and loves to ride in the back seat of the car.
Jackie is 7 years old and weights 17 pounds. If you want a walking companion Jackie would be the dog for you.
