Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bo Bo (aka Blue, as every time we say the words Blue Heeler his ears perk), came to us on Black Friday. He had been living the life of a King for the last couple of months at a Country Club in the north metro, where he was found as a stray. Due to extenuating circumstances he was not able to live the rest of his life out there. I understand there was much sadness on the part of his temporary care givers, & I can understand why. He is a Happy Senior Dog, who definitely loves and respects people & pets. Despite his lame back leg, and a few pesky tumors, he gets around very well! When we have company at the house he try's his best to get to the door before the Queen Mother (Helga) does. He respectfully gives her the honor and waits patiently, tail wagging, till he can get his introductions in. He particularly loves the men folk! I will tell you that this is Helga's first experience with sharing her home and humans with an unfamiliar dog. She put him in his place and he took it like a gentleman. They have spent the last few days living respectfully together. (no cuddling yet) He does go right to the door when nature calls, and comes directly back to the door when finished. Not an outdoor dog! He does love his food and we are trying to get him on a schedule. He is a wee bit of a beggar and I have a hard time saying NO to those eyes! He captures the heart of all who meet him. He is looking for a forever home that perhaps has lots of people coming and going, but will not mind him napping for long periods of time between your gushing attention! He will reward you with a thankful wag of his tail and doggie smiles! His guestimated age is 12 or so.
