My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

✰✰ RODNEY, male one year of Age and #AVAILABLE – For more photos of RODNEY please click http://www.norcalbcrescue.org/rodney.html ✰✰

RODNEY is one-year-old boy has a sweet personality and loves to play. RODNEY’s medium length coat is a deep liver-color with shots of gold and a bit of curl (what a dandy!). A very social dog, RODNEY wants to be with you, petted, loved and generally adored. He has lots of smarts and is fairly calm (for a Border Collie), has already learned the ‘sit’ command, travels well in the car, and walks nicely on a leash. Still a puppy, Rodney likes to have chew toys, bones and other items (like deer antlers) to work on during the day or in his crate at night. This is an all-around great dog which will benefit from additional training.

RODNEY has not had an accident in his foster parent’s house and gets along well with his foster BC’s. He is interested in the family cat but just in a playful way. Rodney is ready to play, cuddle up, and share boundless BC love with his new family.

RODNEY is micro-chipped, neutered, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Adoption Application (http://norcalbcrescue.org/adopt_info.html) and wish to enquire about WALLY, please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration.

RODNEY is being fostered in Granite Bay in Placer County, California.
