Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi Everybody,
My name is Jill and I’m a delicate and darling little Bichon girl of three. My foster Mom says that I’m adorable, gentle, affectionate, shy and easy to love - and that equals 12 pounds of perfection!
My foster Mom says I have an amazingly sweet disposition and that I am very proper (I think she means I have good manners.) I wait patiently to be fed, just wagging my tail and looking at her. Everything seems to be very new to me – so I get to have lots of great experiences. I love treats, I love attention and I love life.
I have this sweet way of sitting next to her and holding up first one paw, then the other and asking her to notice me. Mom says that, as cute as I am, that sweet way of asking for attention endears me to her even more.
When I first came to Mom’s house I was not interested in toys. Aha! But then I found this little blue turtle. I run around the house with him in my mouth and find that to be a lot of fun. Mom is waiting for me to discover that Mr. Turtle is one of many toys that I can play with (but he might always be my favorite!)
While I am not a meeter-and-greeter yet, I am getting over my initial shyness with people. Of course with Mom, I’m a snuggler. She says I lay as close to her heart as possible – and that it’s impossible not to love me!
I’m good in the car, like to walk, respond to commands and like other dogs. Outside of the house I’m more sure of myself, especially with new dogs. I approach them with my tail up because I know they are going to want me to be their friend. Mom says a gentle person will be able to help me respond that same way to people.
So if you are looking for a little love with lots of promise who wants nothing more than to be your companion, please ask for me. Mom says whoever adopts me will be blessed with a little girl who will love you like you have never been loved before.
Tail wags and sweet smiles,
Joyful and Gentle Jill
