His energy level, his intelligence and his docked tail are all the reasons why we think Hunter might just be a Vizsla-mix, so if you're thinking of adding Hunter to your home please make sure you're up for a highly intelligent, very loyal and very athletic companion! Hunter was brought in as a stray, but his social skills, his leash walking skills and his affection level make us think he was someone's dog at some point. Hunter has been a great friend at the shelter, playing with all the other dogs and very friendly to all the volunteers. He's welcomed new intakes and wagged his tail goodbye as they've found their homes and now we think it's Hunter's turn. Hunter is about 1 - 2 years old, he's about 50 solid pounds, and he's very healthy.
