Lefty is a very special, super sweet boy with an adorable face and purrsonality. He is a three legged kitty boy. His front right leg is missing, but that doesn’t deter him from getting around as if he had all four legs. His current owner worked at the shelter where he came in with the missing leg completely healed, so they don't know why his leg is missing.
He is a sweet cuddle bug and very submissive, which is the only reason he is looking for a new forever home. His owner has two other bonded cats that just don’t want to play nice with sweet Lefty. Because he is so laid back and submissive, he is not invited into their inner circle and is being snubbed by them. Actually the female is a bit of a meanie towards him. She has been caught chasing him right out of his litterbox. As the owner put it, if this female would be more adoptable, and not bonded with her other male cat, she would rehome the female and keep Lefty.
So now Lefty’s owner is faced with the difficult decision of rehoming her beloved three legged companion. She has asked our organization to help him find a wonderful, loving and supportive home. Kitties don’t come any sweeter than Lefty. He tries to cuddle with everyone in the house, including the dogs. Oh yes, he really likes dogs. His owner has a toy poodle and border collie and Lefty likes to rub against them.
If you are looking for a cuddly, playful, laid back and quiet kitty, and you cherish a loud purr factor, Lefty is your three legged boy.
