Our darling little girl Cookie is on the road to recovery and is ready for a wonderful home of her own. This 8 year old Pekingese has had a tough time in life, but she's not letting it get her down. She is truly one of the sweetest little girls you will ever meet. Cookie was turned in to us when her owners were unable to care for her skin issues. She suffered for at least 4 years prior to coming to us, so it has been slow-going with getting her to heal, but she's well on her way. Cookie suffered with various skin, eyes and ear infections and had lost most of her hair. We've been treating Cookie with a various medications and supplements, and medicated baths, and she is healing well. To adopt Cookie, you will need to continue with her treatment until she is fully healed. Cookie is well worth the effort though, and is so loving, outgoing and friendly. Cookie loves everyone she meets and wants nothing more than to get lots of love and attention from you. She is very vocal and will whine with delight when she sees one of her many friends. Cookie gets along well with cats and doesn't know much about other dogs, but would probably do well with another small, well behaved dog. Cookie is eager to be all better and start life over with a family that will treasure her and love her and welcome her with open arms, and never let her suffer again. File#24073 10/29/14
