Dugan's Story...
Dugan is a male Shepherd mix, and he was born in January of 2014. He is a very sweet, affectionate boy. He loves to play and be with people, he is still very puppy-like. He even smiles when he's happy! He will need a fenced-in yard because of his breed. He would do best with children that are 8 years old or older. He should do well with most other dogs and be trainable with cats. Dugan is a great boy and will be a wonderful companion.

*Dugan's adoption fee is $100. All HSSCM dogs have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and they are on monthly heartworm/flea prevention.*

  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Battle Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
