Snowflake's Story...
Look at this cute baby! Snowflake is a 2 1/2 month old sweetheart ready to find her fur-ever home! This precious girl is just starting to develop her own unique personality! She is a kitten so she's full of playful energy and spends most of her time pouncing around with her siblings, chasing their tails, and batting around mouse-shaped toys. She is a little shy when meeting new people but it takes no time at all for her to realize you're her friend! She gets along great with other cats and kids of any age. When nap-time rolls around, her favorite place to snuggle is on a soft blanket or warm lap. Once she's recharged, she's up and playing again! She is microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, and will be spayed once she is adopted. If you're in need of a darling kitten to add to your family, Snowflake may be the one you're looking for! She's available at our Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook, open daily from 12-6.
**Save on your adoption fee and help other homeless pets in need! Until the end of December, bring in a 16+ pound bag of PurinaOne pet food and receive 50% off your adoption fee!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snowflake, a Benbrook Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
