My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, My name is Matrix and I am a 4 month old Medium Mixed Breed puppy looking for my new forever home! Unfortunately my caretakers don't know much about my past, as I was found wondering the street all on my own, but they are always telling me how much of a good boy that I am. I am looking for a family who can teach me lot of new tricks, take me on hikes and long walks, and give me a nice place to sleep every night. How ever I am still a baby so I need an owner who is gonna be patient with me and understand that sometimes accidents happen. I also really enjoy playing with other dogs, but because I am a baby my caretakers recommend bringing them in to meet me, they want to make sure that another dog can handle my high energy. My care takers say that I am neutered, microchipped, and up to date on my current vaccines, though they say I will need a few more because I am a still a baby. But if you think I could be a perfect addition to your family, come and meet me today.

*I am available at the Benbrook Waggin' Tails Adoption Center every day from 12-6. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a time to come and meet me, please contact my caretakers at 817-249-3647*

Our History
The Humane Society of North Texas (HSNT) was founded in 1905 and is the oldest animal welfare organization in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. While the organization’s name has evolved from the Fort Worth Humane Society in 1905, to the Tarrant County Humane Society in 1910, to the Humane Society of North Texas in 1982, its focus has always been on caring for animals in need. HSNT provides services such as pet adoptions, low-cost spay/neuter surgeries and vaccinations, returning lost pets to their owners, cruelty investigations and humane euthanasia. HSNT operates four pet adoption centers and a quarantine facility in Tarrant County, as well as an equine and livestock ranch located in Johnson County.
