Here's what the humans have to say about me:
IDGSR WELCOMES PALOMA INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!
IDGSR rescued Paloma out of a very high intake shelter with her sister. Paloma is an approx. 18 month old female Shepherd mix. She does fine with dominant male dogs and will be very submissive to them, she does fine with most other dogs as well, but can be pushy and dominant at times to some other females.
We feel she will do best and have better harmony in the home without other female dogs. She is very sweet and loving and is well behaved in the home and is crate trained.
She is not a difficult dog, but will benefit from additional training. She will do best in a quieter home, one without a lot of kids running thru it, she is fine with kids, but she does get nervous with all the excitement of kids running and screaming. She will be a great companion with single persons, couples, retirees, homes that are more mellow and calm. She is a good alert dog and will warn you if a stranger is nearby.
Previous history is unknown but we do believe she has been abused in the past. She takes very kindly to a soft and loving touch and is very affectionate to her persons. If you would like to make Paloma a member of your family, please apply with this rescue by copying and pasting the link below.
