Here's what the humans have to say about me:
IDGSR WELCOMES PEACHES INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!
Peaches came to us from an extremely high intake shelter that euthanizes approx. 8000 animals per year. The likelihood of her getting out was Zero until IDGSR stepped up. It is nothing short of overwhelming for the rescues to stem the heavy flow of dogs dumped at these shelters all over the South. It is disturbing to us that there is so little regard for life and that life is so cheap here.
Peaches is a lovely little gal, Shepherd mix, not sure what she is mixed with but maybe Australian Shepherd. She is about 45lbs. at the moment, a little on the thin side but she is gaining weight, eating well and is just a happy go lucky girl. It is evident that she has been roughed up, as she is a little hesitant with you at first, but she (like all these dogs) wants to trust you, that you will be kind and loving.
Peaches does great with other dogs, is fairly well mannered in the home, will crate fine. Not tested with cats yet. If you would like to make Peaches a member of your family, please apply with this rescue by copying and pasting and filling out the link below.
