Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Harley and I am a sweet boy looking for someone to share my life! I am a handsome, 6 year old black lab and I try really hard to be good. But I am a lab after all, and am looking for someone who will be happy throwing toys for me to retrieve and having me sleep at their feet while they are working. I have had some training so I know how to do some things like shake, but I will still need some work with housetraining. I love to be in my crate when you leave me home alone and that helps me remember not to have any accidents in the house. I don’t dig in the yard and I love other animals like dogs and cats. I also LOVE to go for walks and am learning to walk with a leash. As far as kids are concerned, I love them because they play with me and hug me.
I used to spend a lot of time by myself and I was lonely so I don’t really like to be by myself for a long amount of time. In my foster home, I have lab brothers and sisters so I play a lot and if you already have a dog that wants some company, I would be a great pick! I came to the rescue group with some ear and teeth troubles but they have fixed me up good. The vet said I was a beautiful, healthy boy and now I feel like a million bucks and am ready to find a family that wants a loyal companion to add to their life.
