Buddy is a quiet dog estimated to be about a year old. He looks to be a jack Russell terrier mix with beagle and weighs about 20 pounds. He has all the markings of a beagle, but Buddy does not bark. We don’t know Buddys history up until he and his four siblings were dumped in a JoCo swamp. Buddy and his brother Skittles are the lucky ones. They were rescued. We do not know the fate of the other three dogs. Perhaps that is why Buddy does not bark. Buddy has been neutered and received all his vaccines, dewormed, is getting HW and Flea prevention on a monthly basis. Buddy is also microchipped. Buddy’s favorite activity is to relax in his foster mom’s arms and be loved on. He is bonded to his brother Skittles. It is our wish that Buddy and Skittles be adopted together. If you have room for these brothers, they will worm their way into your heart and stay forever.
Are you interested in adopting Buddy or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.
Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524, or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).
We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application for Buddy.
