My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Willow is a sweet young girl (1 – 1 1/2 year old), rescued from a kill shelter. Willow loves people and gets excited being around them she obviously didn’t get much love or training in her short life prior to being dumped at a shelter. Willow will hang out in a crate, but doesn’t sleep in it at night. She is housebroken now, though she sometimes needs a night time bathroom break! Willow LOVES to go for rides in the car and enjoys walks. She is doing OK on the leash, but she does get a little nervous when you first put it on her. Willow gets along well with other dogs, but not so much kitties. Her foster is working with her on her commands and she is getting there! She loves humans so much she barks and gets excited and grabs you she just gets OVERCOME with joy. She needs an active, patient family that will continue her training and help her remember her manners when she gets OVERCOME with joy. (LOL). Willow is quite the character and she will be a fun, energetic companion for some lucky person! As always, if you are interested in a Saving Paws dog, you must fill out our online application to get the approval process started. We will only schedule meet & greets with an approved application! Here is the link: http://savingpawsrescueaz.com/adoption-form/ All staff members are volunteers and are not compensated for their time and expenses. Many of our volunteers juggle family, and full-time careers while volunteering at Saving Paws. Please be patient as sometimes it takes up to 5 days to process an application.
