Hello Everyone,
My name is Quinn and I’m a precious little bichon girl of four or five who comes in a very cute package. I’m a dainty bichon but that doesn’t mean I’m a wall flower. Not me. Mom says I’m an absolute sweetheart who is great with children of all ages and sizes and great with other dogs, too. Dad agrees! He says my name stands for a Quintessentially Unique Individual who is Nice as can be and Nurturing. He also says that I’m sweet, snuggly, gentle, loving, calm, eager-to-please and a real cuddle bunny! I tell him, “Dad, I’m not a bunny at all – I’m a furkid! He just smiles and pats my head.
First thing I the morning I like to bounce down the stairs, happy to start a new day. When we go out for a little while and then come back home, I do the same thing. Mom says I bounce and smile and run in front of you, then look back to make sure you're following me and that I’m always happy and excited!
The holidays have been a lot of fun, too. Mom and Dad have had a lot of company over – and they tell me that I’ve been the hit of all the parties. Everybody comments on how sweet I am. Mom says that my favorite place has been in the arms of her son-in-law, a 6'5" guy who loves to hold me. (And I love him right back.)
With my doggy foster brothers around I’m learning lots of new things. Like … playing with toys. I have discovered that I like squeaky toys. They are so much fun! I put them in my mouth and shake the heck out of them. I also like to run outside with my doggy brothers and follow them all over the yard. We go ‘exploring’ in the flower beds and around the flower pots.
And wow! You should see me when it’s time to go for a walk. I’m a real natural. Mom says I get very excited when we're ready to go – and, once outside, I prance down the sidewalk, head held high.
Did I mention that I know some commands (like ‘sit’) and that I’m very, very well-mannered? I never jump up on the sofa – Instead I wait for you to say ‘ok’ then up I come! Mom says I follow her everywhere and am happy to just ‘be.’ She says I snuggle close in when she’s sitting down and usually falls asleep in seconds.
Mom says that you’ll recognize me easily as I just seem to bounce along with my ears flapping, happy as can be as if to say, "Hey world, here I am!" So if you are looking for a sweetheart who is loving, loyal, happy and coming into her own, have another furkid or two, then look no further. I’ll be waiting to meet you.
