Yingling's Story...
It's puppy-time folks.....Yingling is all puppy, and so deserving of a wonderful home and family of his own. Yingling is only 5 months old and is a black lab mix that came to us from our Newark facility. Can you believe this little guy was picked up as a stray? Imagine, a helpless puppy, out on the city streets all alone. We're so happy that the fine folks in AHS Newark picked him up and brought him to safety, and he is now loving life here at Popcorn Park. Yingling is a silly, playful, sweet boy. He absolutely loves people and gets along well with other dogs too. Yingling is very well behaved for a pup and will sit nicely when asked, takes treats and toys gently, and even walks well on a leash. He was overjoyed to go in our giant exercise yard and run like the wind! He ran so fast that he did a few somersaults trying to keep up with his little speeding legs! Yingling is an absolute love that would make a wonderful addition to any lucky family that promises to love and care for him forever, File#24267 1/2/15

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yingling, a Forked River Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
