If the dog (or dogs) you have chosen isn't available for adoption yet, your application will be reviewed when he or she comes available, after medical treatment has been completed. Approximate dates of availability are included in the bios.
If it says a dog isn’t available until a certain time, they really aren’t. There is no way to speed up the process of quarantine/vetting/foster etc.
Chino was born in 2013. He’s a sweet boy who is heartworm positive and has started his treatment, so he will not be available for adoption until March. We are really working with him to get him up to snuff in the department of housetrainibg. He walks well on a leash and loves to go for walks outside. He needs a big, fenced in backyard because this boy loves to run! It has been a real challenge to keep him quiet for his heartworm treatment. He loves toys and often holds tea parties with all of his toy friends. He does not like a kennel. If his people are at home, he sleeps in the bed with his foster parents and sister. He gets along well with other dogs and cats. He chases chickens so beware if you are a chicken! He loves to snuggle and is the best kisser ever! Chino will need another dog in the home that is chosen for him and children need to be at least 10. He weighs about 9 pounds and needs to gain a few pounds.
Chino is being fostered in LA
