Sandy's Story...
Meet Sandy, a very happy and playful 9 month old Terrier mix who is more than ready to find her new forever home! She was brought to us after someone had found her as a stray, but was unable to keep her or locate her owners. She is going to be a small girl, around 20-25lbs when an adult. She gets along great with other dogs and would do best with another playful dog to keep her entertained. She loves kids but can be a little jumpy, so may be best with older kids that will understand she is just trying to play. Sandy has been spayed, current on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Come and meet her today at our Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook. We are open daily from 12-6pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sandy, a Benbrook Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
