Poor Maxie is homeless yet again and in urgent need of a foster or forever home where she can be your only pet- she does well meeting and playing with most other dogs but would prefer not to share her living space with them. Her original owner had found an apartment where she could keep her and took her back for a few months, but her living situation changed again and she is back with us. She is a timid but sweet 3 year old shepherd mix, and is crate-trained, housebroken, and well-mannered. She's about 70lbs full grown and loves car rides and going for walks. She is located in Northern NJ. Email njwoof@cs.com

We do not have a shelter- all our pets are in foster homes and can be seen by appointment only during the week, or at our weekly pet adoptions every Sunday at the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains from 12:30 to 3PM at 3009 Route 10 East next to 5 Star Car Wash (formerly Boulder Car Wash) in Morris Plains (Denville on GPS). Local inquiries only please- we do not do long distance adoptions.
