Poppy's Story...
Meet Poppy!

Poppy is a friendly puppy about 9 weeks old. She was rescued along with her siblings from a high kill shelter in NC. Poppy is now living in a foster home in NJ and enjoying the good life!

Poppy is a playful puppy who loves everyone.....children and other dogs. She enjoy playing with toys, especially tennis balls. Poppy is so cute following everyone around and giving them puppy kisses. This affectionate puppy is looking for her furever home. Is it with you?

If you have a furever home for this pup, please email us at FHDR@att.net for an adoption application. To see more photos, go to www.fhdr.petfinder.com

Please note we do not adopt puppies/dogs to homes where they will be alone all day.

The breed this pet is listed as is our best guess as we have no background info on who the mom and dad are.

We do not have a shelter facility you can visit. Our volunteers foster the dogs and pups in their homes once they have been vetted and transported here from NC.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Poppy, a Randolph Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Randolph, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Randolph.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Randolph already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Randolph breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Randolph paves the way for another one to be saved.
