Lou's Story...
Meet Lou, a sweet 3 month old kitten ready to find his purr-fect home! He can be a little nervous in new environments so he will need a family that's patient enough to give him ample time to adjust. He doesn't take too long to learn that you're his friend and once he has, he is as lovable as can be! He is very affectionate and absolutely adores being snuggled up against you on your lap or by your side. He does really well with other cats and kids and would really love to have a companion to play with! He is full of kitten energy and spends a good amount of his time running around and pouncing around on balls and feather wands. Lou is microchipped, up-to-date on his vaccinations, but will need to stay to be neutered. if you're looking for a wonderful guy to add to your family, Lou may be the one for you! He's available at our Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook so come visit him today! We're open every day from 12-6.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lou, a Benbrook Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
