My name is Shawna and I am so sad to be back in Rescue again. Can you help me? I was adopted by a family 6 years ago, but they said that their life had changed and they had a lot of family obligations now, so they returned me to Rescue. I thought that I was part of the family, but apparently they didn’t think of me that way. I just don’t understand what happened to my family. I guess I am better off now; I want someone who will truly commit to me and give me the love and attention that I deserve. I am about 10 yrs. old and weigh 31 lbs. I am a sweet & quiet girl that sleeps most of the day, and I will do my best not to be any trouble for you. I’m not a young girl anymore, but I think I have the maturity and wisdom that comes with age. Is your heart big enough to add a senior gal to your home? You will be older someday, too. Wouldn’t it be nice if there was someone around to take care of YOU? If you adopt me, I will love you and be forever grateful that you took a chance with me.
