Meet Tigger, the sweetest chocolate brindle baby you'll ever have the pleasure of knowing. She's brand new to DREAM and has recently lost her mom (due to death). Now she needs a new home where she can regain her confidence & her girlish figure. Due to some of life's stresses, Tigger gained weight during her family's time of illness & suffering. Immediately following her mom's passing, she became very depressed. We were asked to help & with a face like that, how could we not?!? Tigger has settled in very quickly at her foster mom's home and has already lost 2 lbs. We expect the rest to melt off of her quickly. We guess she will get down to 14 lbs when she's finally at her prime health again. Tigger is crate, leash, & house trained. She gets along with other dogs & cats. She's coming out of her shell each day & now seeks out her foster family for attention. She is an absolute treasure of a dachshund. You'd be hard pressed to find another one as good as this little girl.

dreamhappytails.org/adoptform.shtml. Tigger 's adoption fee is $300. All adoption fees go directly to veterinary care for DREAM dachshunds. Tigger will go to her new home microchipped, spayed, heartworm tested, and up to date on vaccinations. Most dogs' veterinary expenses are greater than our adoption fees.
DREAM is an all-volunteer rescue group, and we focus on the Atlanta, North Georgia and Savannah area. Because we are all volunteers, we can consider applications only within an hour of these areas. DREAM does not recommend purebred dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a doxie's back.
