Here's what the humans have to say about me:
2015-01-13: Hello Families! My name is Austen 2 and I am a 5 yr old yellow male lab mix weighing 42 lbs. I was left at a shelter and the nice people from SCLRR came and got me. I must have had a family that loved me because I am very well behaved and know most commands, sit, stay and lay down! So I don’t know why someone would have let me go.
I recently had surgery to remove some kidney stones. Due to my recent surgery I will need to be on a specialized food diet to prevent further kidney stones. I have now recovered and I am doing great!
My foster Mom is super active and takes me on long walks three times a day. She says I am incredibly smart and sweet. I love being with my people! I am very good with other dogs – I currently live with a yellow lab and a little Chihuahua. I rarely bark and I’m not destructive at all. I sleep well in my dog bed and never jump on furniture or counter surf. I am very low maintenance and really just love life. My foster Mom says I am super special and deserve a great family.
