Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Moxie is a fun, sweet, affectionate and well-behaved, 20-month-old, 45-pound female blue and white pit bull terrier with gorgeous hazel eyes looking for a loving guardian.
Moxie knows the commands “sit” and “stay” and takes treats gently from your fingers. She is an easy-going and fun companion. She is crate-trained and housebroken.
She loves pouncing on balls and squeaky toys and playing fetch in the yard. She is an excellent jogging companion and great on leash (unless she sees a squirrel). She has been taking training classes with her foster parents and has proven to be a quick learner who is very happy to please.
She’s full of wiggles, wags, snuggles and kisses. While she could probably share a home with a mellow male dog about her size, she may be best the one and only pet in the home – certainly no cats or other small animals. She would adore a home with a yard to run, get her energy out, and play fetch in. She is not a doggie day care or dog park kind of dog.
Moxie is extremely healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm-tested and micro-chipped. To meet and possibly adopt Moxie, please contact Debbie at deb_rez@yahoo.com or 847-962-9459. Her adoption fee of $100 benefits rescued pets. She is being fostered in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood.
