My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hershey is still a baby, about 9 months old - 1 year. He is gentle with adults and children, plus he's good with other dogs and cats too. There are two cats in his foster home. The cats are not afraid of him, and he will walk right by them, maybe try to give them a kiss or two, and that's it.

Hershey is very smart and eager to please. He has already learned important commands such as SIT, STAY, COME, NO, DOWN and LEAVE IT plus he's learned how to GIVE PAW. He is crate trained and does not cry while his foster mom is gone. He's also house broken although because it's so icy outside, he does tend to potty right on the driveway, so we're working on getting him over to the lawn. He needs some work with walking/leash training and also continuing to learn boundaries for what is a toy he can play with and what he should not touch.

He is not food aggressive at all, meaning he does not beg and calmly eats his food. But, Hershey is very thin, so we are working on putting some weight on him.

This very sweet boy will cuddle with you on the couch or in bed if you let him. He also likes to give kisses but will stop if you ask him to. Could he be the next addition to your family?
