My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there! My name is Snoopy, and I am a five year old Bichon who weighs around 18 pounds. I had a family for five years, but they had to relocate and couldn’t take me with them, and by the way, I’m not at all fat!

My Foster Mom says I’m just such an awesome dog, she calls me her Super Dooper Snooper! I am really a laid back low maintenance dog.

Usually I just like to sit on the couch and hang out or look out the window, and I am totally grateful for whatever treats, love, or attention you give me.

I do like to stay close to my foster mom when she’s home. I like to be in her lap and snuggling if she’s sitting down.

I’m doing really well working on my house training. I sleep in the bed with my foster parents at night, too. Oh how I LOVE to snuggle! And belly rubs too, those are really great!!

I get excited when it’s time to go for walks or rides in the car. I LOVE walks and rides. When I see my foster mom put on her jacket or head toward the door, I get all excited and start jumping around and wagging my tail. I can hardly contain myself as she puts on my harness. I walk well on a leash and tend to stay close to my foster mom. Car rides are something else I love. In fact if I see an open door, I’ll just jump in, even if it’s not my foster mom’s car!

I am great with children and other dogs. I spent the entire winter break playing with my human and canine cousins. My foster mom says I would be a great family dog because I let them snuggled on top of me, or picked me up. In fact, I just smiled and wagged my tail for every minute of it. I also had a great time playing with the inside small dogs, as well as playing with the big dogs outside. I would love a doggie sibling! I all have to say I really enjoyed myself playing with my canine cousins in the house last month, too! .

One thing you should know about me is I cannot control myself around cats. If I see a cat I have to chase it and bark at it. My foster mom doesn’t think I would hurt a cat, but it would probably be a good idea for me to not have to share the house with one.

If you are looking for an amazing all-around, loyal, laid back, and snuggly companion who will keep your lap warm and love you unconditionally, I am the dog for you. Please consider adopting me!
