This beautiful young lady is Sage, a 2 year old Australian shepherd mix that is hoping for a great home of her own. Sage found herself in an overcrowded shelter in the south where her time ran out, and she needed another chance. She headed north to us in the hopes of getting noticed and starting fresh in her young life, and we're so happy to have this sweet and lovable girl. Sage is bubbly and outgoing, and seems to love everyone she meets. She makes friends very quickly and is very ladylike. She walks so well on a leash and will sit nicely when asked. She is gentle with treats and absolutely loves playing with toys. Sage has the time of her life in our exercise yard, running laps and tossing around a ball, and would love an active home with a nice yard to romp and roam in. She is fine with other dogs and could live with a cat after she's had a chance to get to know them. She makes friends in people of all ages and would be the perfect addition to any good family that will give her the great home she's been dreaming of. File#24318 1/17/15
