Wesley: 18 month old male Tabby and White Maine Coon

He even looks gorgeous in his shelter photographs, those below with the blue box.. I was at the shelter to pick up two other cats who were in the same room. I saw him. “I want him too !!!! " I said. “ Can I take him into rescue??" !!! Yes Yes Yes. He had to stay two more days while they did a health check and combo test ( Neg/Neg) and then I raced back to get him. His beautiful appearance is as fabulous as his wonderful personality. He is a great guy. Young healthy playful beautiful loving.

I have not had him long and will write more when I know his personality better. He is still a baby and will continue growing til he matures as Maine Coons do, when he is about three and a half years old. He is already long bodied and will grow wider and bigger. He will be a big boy. His coat is ultra plush and shows he is in perfect health and was well cared for.. He has a huge fluffy tail.

He was surrendered due to moving and you could tell his family were very upset to say good bye to him. On his paperwork his mom said “ he will give his heart to anyone who will love him.” It is so sad they lost their treasure. Someone else will be very lucky to get him. I wanted to take him in as a foster so I could ensure he got a great home. Shelters have to give cats to anyone who asks for them.That’s the way it works. Just like that. I can do a more careful job for him and set him up for a long. happy life.

He eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

His foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
