Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Reba is a sweet and easy-going, three-year-old, 70-pound, female purebred Bloodhound looking for a loving guardian.
Reba was rescued from a high-kill shelter in southern Illinois. Sadly, it looks like Reba’s owners bred her, sold her puppies, and then dumped her in the country where she was found stray. Reba would love to find a family that adores her and appreciates the wonderful and beautiful dog she is.
Reba is all hound; she follows her nose wherever she goes. She loves toys, meeting new people, and enjoys the company of other dogs. She is even okay with dog-friendly cats. Reba will make a wonderful family companion. Reba is currently being fostered on the north side of Chicago. She is quietly crate-trained and housebroken if kept on a regular schedule. Reba loves her treats but doesn’t know any formal commands yet.
To meet and possibly adopt Reba, please contact her foster mom Samantha at palsplace1@hotmail.com or 773-615-9864. Her adoption fee of $275 benefits the rescued dogs of Pal’s Place. She is very healthy, spayed, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm-tested and micro-chipped.
